As our country and the world continue to respond to the growing impact of COVID-19 (the coronavirus), I wanted to let you know the steps that CCC has taken to protect our employees and our customers in this extraordinary time.
Our guiding principles have been the safety of our employees and maintaining high availability of all systems that we operate for you. Our Business Continuity Plan that we exercised as a result of COVID-19 called for several actions, including restrictions on employee travel, activation of remote work policies, enhanced monitoring, and increased redundancy of our core systems. The successful activation of these measures allowed us to shift the vast majority of our employees to remote work, and to maintain normal operations across our network, applications, and customer delivery. Our communications systems, including telephony and collaboration tools, give us the ability to conduct virtual interactions where needed. We have increased the capacity of these systems to accommodate increased volumes and utilization. In addition, our leadership team meets multiple times per day to assess and respond to any new developments throughout the country.
We know that maintaining your ability to make dynamic, real-time decisions is critical, especially in this environment. Our team is standing by to help you through all of our regular support channels.
