Inside CCC's Integration with Xplor Pay

Inside CCC's Integration with Xplor Pay

For more than six years, Xplor Pay and CCC Intelligent Solutions have been working together to enable payment solutions through CCC's platform for repair facilities that not only serve the day-to-day needs of repair shops but fundamentally transform how they operate. What began as a technical integration has evolved into a deep collaboration rooted in mutual feedback, innovation, and a shared commitment to improving the experience for repairers and their customers.

Xplor Pay integrates with CCC so collision repair shops using both solutions can collect payments seamlessly within their existing workflows, enabling shops to offer convenient options like text-to-pay, process credit card transactions directly from the repair order, and receive next-day funding. This integration streamlines reconciliation, reduces manual work, and improves both cash flow and the customer payment experience.

A Seamless Integration Built on Customer Feedback

"Working closely with the CCC team and evaluating feedback from our mutual customers is what has made this partnership so successful," said Hannah Cummings, Senior Manager of Partner Development at Xplor Pay. "We've done a really good job of quantifying that feedback and using it to evolve the integration and push new initiatives forward."

Xplor Pay has launched several enhancements over the years – like enabling surcharging, advanced reporting tools, and text-to-pay functionality – that give shops more flexibility and control over how they get paid. By working together with CCC to embed these features directly into the CCC workflow, Xplor Pay has helped reduce the operational burden on shop staff and created a more seamless experience for customers.

"A lot of the feedback we get is that before the integration, shops were doing a lot of manual reconciliation – sometimes hiring people just to manage payments," said Cummings. "With this integration, payments auto-post into an environment that shops are already used to, which saves a ton of time and simplifies their day-to-day."

Scaling to Serve Shops of All Sizes

Use of CCC products by repair facilities in the auto repair ecosystem has also played a critical role in helping Xplor Pay scale. Today, over 2,500 repair facilities benefit from the integration, and the collaboration has enabled Xplor Pay to reach larger multi-service operators (MSOs) – collision shops with multiple locations – while still supporting single-location shops with ease.

"CCC has been instrumental in connecting us with the right people and helping us present the solution in a way that’s easy to understand and implement," said Cummings. "That's been key to making sure we're building the right product for customers."

The impact of CCC's partnership with Xplor Pay extends well beyond current offerings. Sharing customer feedback enables both companies to enhance their own product roadmaps, developing solutions that reflect the evolving needs of repair shops and deliver greater value across their respective platforms.

"Some of the tools we've developed, like integrated payments for check processing or support for Apple Pay on our text-to-pay page, came directly from feedback from CCC observing our mutual customers’ needs," said Cummings. "It's feedback that didn’t just shape the integration with CCC, it actually helped influence our broader product strategy."

The Power of Partnering with CCC

"CCC is always pushing us to think bigger about what's possible and what would truly help our customers succeed," said Cummings. "It's a partnership that challenges us, supports us, and helps us deliver more value to the industry."

Her advice to other tech providers thinking about joining the CCC ecosystem:

"Listen to your customers. Lean on CCC's expertise," said Cummings. "That's what's made this such a strong partnership for us."
