Las Vegas, Nov. 3rd - Key among CCC Information Services Inc.’s NACE 2006 announcements is a set of solutions giving collision repairers a level of transparency into their important business metrics that will give them the ability to put that information into action. Whether it’s proactively managing insurer-based DRP guidelines or receiving customer satisfaction indexing (CSI), CCC is on the convention floor demonstrating the ability of its solutions.
Designed to provide consistent automobile physical damage estimates, reduce supplement rates and increase repair facility and insurer satisfaction, CCC Accumark Advisor For Repair Facilities can automatically remind estimators to run an audit prior to locking and sending the estimate. Based on the rules and profiles created in the Online Rule Interface, the application – accessible through CCC Pathways® – can identify exceptions and return a detailed report of those exceptions. Estimators can then make estimate changes right in CCC Pathways and resubmit the estimate for audit to see how the changes affect the automated electronic audit results.
The next efficiency step in the transfer of information between repairers and insurance companies is giving repair facilities a high level of transparency into their key performance indicators (KPIs) through Estimatic Report Services. Repair facilities can measure – and actively pursue changes to – their performance goals by having access to the same data insurers use to measure a repair facility’s KPI scores. With this information in hand, repair facilities have the ability to eliminate any potential “gotcha” meetings that could arise with insurance companies when discussing a DRP relationship.
Another relationship that’s integral to business is customer satisfaction indexing – having the ability to manage both internal and external best practices through the tracking of results. In the third quarter of this year, CCC began offering the customer satisfaction index services of CSi Complete. CCC is responsible for the marketing and sales of all new CSi Complete accounts.
In addition to these new technology developments is the continued strengthening of CCC’s flagship estimating solution, CCC Pathways® 4.4, which is now the only solution with integrated estimating, shop management, self-audit and vehicle specifications – all of which are designed to eliminate manual steps and toggling between multiple software operations. One of the recent enhancements is the Auto Workfile Entry function, accessible via CCC’s EZNet communications network. Users are able to download a replica of a CCC Pathways workfile previously written by a staff appraiser, which eliminates the need to manually re-key the estimate.
Other enhancements include: an expanded paintless dent repair matrix; a towing detail documentation feature; an “Optional OEM” parts database; an on-screen parts cost comparison feature; a specified parts supplier list; and an insurance company-specific disclaimer feature, eliminating the need to re-key or manually update the estimate.
