CCC Accumark™ Reinspection gains momentum with customer wins

ACUITY includes product as part of integrated claim management solution

CHICAGO, Jan. 5th, 2006 - ACUITY, A Mutual Insurance Company, is one of 17 carriers to implement CCC Accumark™ Reinspection since its release in mid-2004. Designed to create a more efficient process through the management of company-specified appraisal procedures, users can quickly identify and prioritize claims for reinspection.

CCC Accumark also tracks and traces the implementation of changes back to the appraisal source. In the past, nearly half of the supplements that were supposed to be issued following reinspection never were written.

“We are always looking to create efficiencies in the claims handling process to improve our overall workflow,” said Greg Olsen, director of Auto-Physical Damage at ACUITY.  “The efficiencies should maintain or enhance the claims handling process. CCC's integrated product solution helps us attain those targets by eliminating the need to switch back and forth between different applications during the claims-handling process.”

The Sheboygan, Wisconsin- based carrier confirmed the importance of an integrated claim management solution by implementing the following:

  • CCC Accumark Reinspection - CCC Accumark Reinspection automatically reviews each line of an estimate within a customized framework of company-established rules. Because the reinspector can edit and “highlight” an estimate line for clarity, insurers will be in a position to reduce the time spent on each claim, increase staff productivity and write more comprehensive estimates.
  • CCC Autoverse® Claim Management- a Web-based, open solution giving a convenient, centralized location to receive, review and conclude the auto claims process;
  • CCC Intellisphere® Insurance Reporting – CCC’s reporting tool, CCC Intellisphere, offers multiple and customizable views into management and performance data, making it easy for insurers to search for and access information;
  • CCC Pathways® Appraisal Solution – an electronic estimate-writing tool designed to assist users in quickly and easily exchanging estimate-related information with either repair facilities or field staff, and;
  • CCC Valuescope ® Claim Services - which provides local market valuations for private passenger, commercial and recreational vehicles.

 “Products like CCC Accumark and CCC Autoverse offer us the ability to streamline our claims storage and reinspection procedures and allows us to concentrate on what we do best – serving our customers,” concluded Olsen.

Mary Jo Prigge, president of Service Operations at CCC, added that ACUITY also gains other efficiencies. “The ability of CCC to deliver an integrated solution takes away an element of stress felt by our customers when they have to dedicate time and financing to maintain multiple systems to handle claims,” said Prigge. “In addition, CCC’s solution provides insurance companies with detailed insight into their claims processes and gives them the ability to benchmark and prioritize individually tailored goals and objectives.”
