CCC Pathways® Dial-up Network

NOTICE TO CCC PATHWAYS® DIAL-UP USERS: DISCONTINUATION OF TOLL FREE SERVICE

CCC Information Services will be upgrading its dial-up network by the end of 2007. As part of this upgrade, CCC will no longer support toll free 800 numbers for dial-up customers.

As an alternative, CCC will provide local dial up access for area codes throughout the country.  Please follow the instructions below to switch your CCC Pathways dial-up 800 number to a local number as soon as possible to avoid service disruption*.

Please select Verizon's area code look up page to get a list of numbers in your local area.

1. Enter your area code to get a list of numbers in your local area.
2. In the protocol drop down select "Modem, 300-33600" or "V90" and click search.
3. Please select a local phone number.

Once you have selected a local number(s), please update your CCC Pathways units according to the following instructions:

1. Log on to CCC Pathways. From the menu bar, select View > Setup > Software.
2. Double-click on Software Modules.
3. Double-click on Communications Software Module.
4. Select the Locations tab.
5. Double-Click on the “Location” that has an 800 number.
6. In the Location Properties sheet, replace the current 800 number with the new local number(s) that you selected from www.cccis.com or received from a CCC Technical Support representative.
7. Click the OK button. Use CCC Pathways as you normally would.

*In some cases a local toll charge may apply.
