The Future of P&C Ecosystem Partnerships with Manjaree Harwood

CCC's Creators & Innovators blog series features members of our team discussing what excites them most about the work they're doing and how they're contributing to CCC's growth and success. This month, we're featuring a Q&A with CCC's Senior Director of Ecosystems & Strategic Alliances, Manjaree Harwood, on the future of connectivity in the P&C insurance economy.

How long have you been with CCC and what was your previous professional experience?

I’ve been with CCC for almost 5 years. I started in Market Development on the OEM Services Team, and then moved over to the Ecosystems Team under Corporate Strategy in March 2020. Before CCC, I was at Cox Automotive for over 6 years in various roles supporting OEM clients and dealers for Cox Automotive’s products and solutions. And before that, I worked at Agero for almost 8 years, supporting OEM clients for wholesale roadside assistance, towing, and telematics programs.

What are you currently working on, and what excites you about it?

In my current role at CCC, I work to bring new partners into the CCC ecosystem to help support our growth. The most exciting part about it is that I get to work with so many different types of partners, and that I continue to learn and get exposed to so many parts of the collision claims process as it grows more and more complex.

How do you think ecosystem partnerships and connectivity will shape the future of the P&C insurance economy?

Speed and scalability are fundamental for growth, which is why I think the property and casualty insurance industry must embrace ecosystem partnerships. I believe that reliance on innovative services and talent from other industries will provide the P&C insurance economy with the flexibility and agility to meet policyholders’ evolving needs.

What sort of future do you envision for the P&C insurance and collision repair industries over the next 5-10 years?

I think the P&C insurance and collision repair industries need to start working now to enhance their future digital capabilities so they can provide a seamless customer experience for policyholders. I see a future where P&C carriers are partnering with technology companies and insurtech solutions to leverage their expertise, platforms, data analytics, and AI. Through these partnerships, I believe carriers can offer highly tailored policies and pricing based on individual customer behaviors and preferences, which I think will be key to meet their customers’ specific needs and preferences.

What’s your favorite thing about working for CCC?

Definitely the people! I’m so proud to be part of an organization that has so many brilliant minds. The impressive talent, experience, and skills that CCC’ers bring to the table is what allows us to work together to bring cutting-edge solutions to the P&C insurance and collision repair industries.
